Brit is a molecular cell biologist who has worked on cell signaling in the context of plant hormones, synthetic biology, cancer, and inflammation. She joined the faculty of Whitman College in 2015 where she is a member of the Biology Department and the Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology (BBMB) Program. She enjoys assembling jigsaw puzzles while listening to podcasts, eating cheese, an afternoon drink with friends on the patio of a local brewery/winery/cafe/restaurant, and traveling across the world with her wife Rande.
